Schedule Builder Available October 9

The New Schedule Builder tool will be available in MyUI starting October 9 for Winter 2017 and Spring 2018 registration. Schedule Builder is a web-based schedule planner that allows you to generate multiple schedule options within minutes.

This tool allows you to generate schedules based on your individual needs such as: blocking time out for practice, club meetings, and work as well as choosing a course location and/or delivery mode. Once you have found potential schedules, you can save them as your "Preferred Schedules" until it is time to register.

When you are permitted to register, you may return to schedule builder to review your Preferred Schedules and register for courses. A Preferred Schedule in Schedule Builder does not guarantee that the schedules will be available upon registration. It is recommended that you save more than one Preferred Schedule.

Getting Started with Schedule Builder:

You can go out now to Office of the Registrar's website to learn how to use Schedule Builder. Starting October 9, you can actively use the tool.

Starting October 9, Schedule Builder Access Opens

• Access Schedule Builder and take online tour
• Get started in setting filters and adding courses in Course Cart
• Review course restrictions and prerequisites
• Build and save "Preferred Schedules"

Registration Facts

• You may not register for courses until your Registration Day/Time assignment.
• Registration Day/Time Assignments will be posted on MyUI on October 18.
• Early Registration is November 6-17.
• All registration holds need to be resolved prior to registration.
• You are still be required to meet with your advisor and obtain the necessary authorization before registering, if applicable
• You can still register for courses on the Courses/Registration Dashboard in MyUI.
