Please note: End of Semester Grades are posted approximately 10 business days after the last day of finals and Degree Notations are posted approximately 15 business days after the last day of finals. Please select the appropriate timing (Now, After Grades, After Degree) on your request. If your final semester is spring, place your request after February 1st; summer, place your request after June 1st; fall, place your request after September 1st.
Effective August 1, 2016, University of Iowa transcripts are free. If delivery of Federal Express is selected, there is a delivery fee still assessed. There is a transcript fee for non-University of Iowa (closed/defunct schools) transcripts issued, plus Federal Express delivery (if selected). The costs are listed on the Transcripts page. We process transcript requests without pre-payment and a bill will be sent to the billing address the following month. The University of Iowa does not accept credit cards for payment; we will send a bill. Note: It can take up to a month for charges to appear on a student’s U-Bill.
If you were a Project Lead The Way (PLTW), Biz Innovator, STEM Innovator, or Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) student, please answer "Yes" to the online form question "Are/Were you a UI student?" - the credit is at the University of Iowa.
A transcript of your complete record will be issued unless you request a partial transcript by level of study. If you completed both undergraduate and graduate or professional work, you can request separate transcripts. If you completed a combined study program (undergrad/grad or grad/professional), we are not able to separate the coursework. If you wish to request your entire University of Iowa record, leave this section blank.
Processing Time - Requests received by either of the forms below may take 1 to 2 business days before they are processed and sent. If you have been a University of Iowa student during or after 2003, it is more efficient to place your request on MyUI. MyUI requests are processed the next business day.
