Covid-19 Contact Information
The Office of the Registrar is dedicated to providing the same services in fall 2020; however in order to help minimize the spread of Covid-19 some of the methods in reaching us have changed.
Many administrative areas are working off-campus but are still available by email or phone Monday thru Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm. Please refer to the various tiles below for that information.
UI SERVICE CENTER – 2700 UCC
Updated Office Hours Effective 11/23/2020 - In response to the governor's recent proclamation imposing additional public health measures to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, the UI Service Center (2700 UCC) will be reducing office hours. Check the UI Service Center website for contact information and any additional updates. We are available by phone or email each business day.
2021 (subject to change)
- Week of 1/4 - open Monday 1/4, Wednesday 1/6 & Friday 1/8
- Week of 1/11 - open Monday 1/11, Wednesday 1/13 & Friday 1/15
- Week of 1/18 - open Tuesday 1/19, Wednesday 1/20, Thursday 1/21 & Friday 1/22
- January 25th and forward - open Monday through Friday (excluding holidays)
A mask will be required when entering the UI Service Center. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you.
- A greeter will monitor visitors and allow entrance as space allows.
- Our office will be closed daily from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm for cleaning on the days we are open.
Registration changes can be processed by email if all permissions required are included, instructions available on Registrar’s website.
Drop-in services are limited at this time; we recommend you call ahead 319 384-4300 or email email@example.com with questions or to see if staff is available for a drop-in registration request.
Transcripts and Verifications
- Transcript orders can be placed in MyUI or on the Registrar’s website.
- Verifications can be downloaded in MyUI.

IVETS - 2706 and 3702 UCC
IVETS is currently located in both 2706 UCC and 3702 UCC.
Both offices are open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
For benefits-related questions, please contact us at email@example.com or visit us in 2706 UCC. Meetings are by appointment or drop-in as available to allow for social distancing. Please knock when you arrive or call (319) 335-3895.
Due to the rising number of positive COVID-19 cases in Johnson County, the IVETS lounge and computer lab located in 3702 & 3704 UCC will be closed beginning Monday, August 31, 2020.
We are still here for you! The IVETS office in 2706 UCC will remain open to assist with benefit related needs. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or drop in during our Zoom hours Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Jessup Hall Administrative Offices
Scanning and digital storage of supporting academic documents for University of Iowa students as well as electronic storage of custodial defunct schools.
Hours of operation - 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. & 1:00 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.

Classroom Scheduling manages and schedules the central pool of University Classrooms throughout campus. This includes coordination of classrooms for schedule of courses, special academic events, and general maintenance and upkeep.
Exam Scheduling creates and publishes the final exam schedule according to University policies to minimize student conflict. They also assist departments in scheduling evening midterm examinations.
