About Course Section Offerings

The University of Iowa has designed MAUI to assist in course section creation and planning, along with other functions. Each semester, academic units review their course offerings and make adjustments as needed. Once course sections have been submitted to the Office of the Registrar, we will review them and make the appropriate room assignments. Please review the various course section components and use the information cards below to access course section management help guides.

Course Cancellation Instructions

Course cancellation best practices are determined by the college, in consultation with the Office of the Registrar. 

Instructions are provided for the cancellation of course sections in approved status. 

Textbooks & Resources

The primary source for all textbooks and resource listings is the Iowa Hawk Shop and University Bookstore. Orders may also be placed at local bookstores. Orders placed only with local bookstores will not meet HEOA compliance.
