This worksheet will explain how to enter time and location information into MAUI for those courses with rotating or split schedules.
Section with One Room and a Rotating Schedule (Full Session):
Some sections do not meet every week in the same room; there is a feature in MAUI that allows the user to choose what recurrence pattern the section will have. This example is for a section meeting pattern lasting the entire session.
- Click on Registrar tab and then click Offerings Planner. Choose Session and then find the section that will be updated. The Session should be a full session, do not choose Off-Cycle.
- Click the Time/Location link.
- If the section is Approved a free text box will appear, in this please describe in detail how the section should meet.
- This section meets every other week in Room X from Time X to Time Y on Day X starting on Date X ending Date Y. Example: REGR:1000:0001 meets in 1 JH from 1pm – 2pm from 08/27 to 12/10.
- Example: If this was for Fall 2017, MAUI would then schedule REGR:1000:0001 in 1 JH from 1pm – 2pm Tues with meeting dates of 8/22, 9/5, 9/19, 10/3, etc. until 12/5.
