Data Requests

Requests for data not found in these reports may be made in the following ways.

External Data Requests

Entities outside of the University of Iowa requesting access to unpublished data may submit a Public Records request through the University of Iowa’s Office of Transparency.

Internal Data Requests

University of Iowa faculty and staff with data needs beyond the information published online, may fill out an Internal Student Data Request Form and our office will look into the request as appropriate. Prior to submitting a request, departments are recommended to review their data needs with their collegiate IT staff to determine if the request can be best completed in house.

Academic Data Management

Produces institutional, state, federal, and Iowa Board of Regents reports for the student population and responds to open records and internal data requests.
