Students Not Returning
Students not returning to the University for Fall 2018 session must remove their entire Fall enrollment before Monday, August 20, 2018 to prevent being held responsible for tuition and fee assessment.
Enrollment may be removed before the session begins by either:
- Dropping all your Fall 2018 courses by Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. on MyUI. Contact the UI Service Center if you have problems dropping your courses in MyUI.
- or Faxing, mailing, or emailing a statement with your written signature to the UI Service Center indicating you will not return to the University for the Fall 2018 session. Your statement must include your name, University ID number, address, and contact information (phone and email) and be received by Friday, August 17 at 4:30 pm.
Once the session begins students must process a withdrawal if they wish to remove all their courses.
- If students choose to withdraw (remove all courses) after the Fall 2018 session has begun please see the Withdrawal Information on our website. You will be responsible for a percentage of tuition and mandatory fees based on the date of the withdrawal. You will not be able to register for additional courses in the Fall 2018 session once the withdrawal has been completed. If you wish to remain enrolled but need to remove current courses and add others then you will need to use the Change in Registration process to drop and add courses.
The first Fall session University Bill is due August 23, 2018. Billing and payment information can be found here. Failure to make the minimum payment by that date will result in a late fee.
The Fall Academic Calendar is available on the Office of the Registrar's website.
